Privacy Policy

The short version

• You can use PrayMove without creating an account or telling us who you are.
• Your GPS route and heart-rate readings never leave your device. Only per-run summaries sync to your own account, so your history follows you.
• Prayer requests, dedications, and the programs you join are stored so PrayMove can hand them back to you — never for advertising, never sold.
• We use privacy-focused analytics with no advertising and no data sales — ever.
• You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app, any time.
• This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers.

Who we are

PrayMove is made by Little Way Studios Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Orange, NSW. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy and handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Accounts

When you first open PrayMove, the app creates an anonymous account — no name, no email, no sign-up screen. If you later choose to sign in with Apple or with an email address, that lets you keep your prayer runs across devices; it’s entirely optional. We store only what the sign-in method provides (an identifier, and an email address if you use one).

Groups

If you join a group, we store the display name you choose, your group’s name, and any prayer requests you post, so we can show them to your group’s members — that is their only use. Whether you’ve prayed today is shared with your groups as a simple yes or no, and you can turn that off in Settings. Run details are never visible to your group. Deleting your account deletes all of this.

Sensitive information

Prayer requests, run dedications like “For Mum,” and the prayer programs you join say something real about what you believe. Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), that makes them sensitive information — and we treat it that way.

We store this content so PrayMove can hand it back to you: your prayer history, the programs you’ve joined, and any request you choose to share with a group. A dedication stays private to you — we never show it to anyone else, even within a group. By choosing to submit any of it, you consent to us storing it for that purpose, and that purpose only: it’s never used for advertising, never used to track you, and never sold.

Health and location data

During a prayer run, PrayMove reads your location (GPS) and, on Apple Watch, your heart rate and calories, so it can show your pace and route while you pray, and so your history follows you to your next device. The route itself is processed on your device only:

• Your GPS route and individual heart-rate readings never leave your device — the route is saved only to Apple Health.
• Run stats — distance, duration, pace, and (when available) average heart rate and calories — sync to your PrayMove account, so your history follows you across devices.
• Workouts are saved to Apple Health (HealthKit) with your permission, under Apple’s rules: we never use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, and we never sell it or share it with third parties.

Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand things like which features are used, so we can make PrayMove better. It receives a hashed device identifier and usage signals — not linked to your identity, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking, no personal details. TelemetryDeck anonymises data before it is stored.

Subscriptions

Optional subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check what you’re entitled to. Neither we nor RevenueCat ever see your payment card details — Apple keeps those.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Account). This permanently removes your prayer history, programs, and favourites from all devices — along with your account, your group content, and everything else we hold about you. Workouts saved to Apple Health stay under your control in the Health app, where you can delete them separately.

This website and the waitlist

praymove.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address (with a note that it came from this site) and use it only to send you launch news about PrayMove. To come off the list at any time, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to hello@littlewaystudios.au and we’ll remove you.

Where your data lives

Account data, run summaries, and prayer requests are stored with Supabase; subscription status with RevenueCat; and analytics with TelemetryDeck. These providers may store data on servers outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it to the standard the Australian Privacy Principles require.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app and update the date at the top of this page.
